In April 2022, we reached a milestone: the sale of our Shopify connector to Microsoft. While this marked the conclusion of one chapter, it simultaneously opened the door to new opportunities, an expanded role in shaping the future of integrated digital commerce. Through our continued collaboration with Microsoft, we were introduced to BigCommerce, setting the stage for our next strategic innovation.

Strategic alignment: BigCommerce as the logical next step

While Shopify remains a powerful platform for emerging businesses, it primarily targets small to medium-sized enterprises that often operate without the need for an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system like Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central.

BigCommerce, in contrast, is purpose-built for scalability. It is designed to serve mid-market and enterprise-level organizations actively seeking e-commerce solutions that offer deep integration with ERP platforms. When BigCommerce approached Microsoft regarding a native integration with Business Central, Microsoft turned to its trusted partner network, leading directly to our involvement.

Introducing the connector: seamless integration for modern commerce

Our team developed a native, fully integrated connector between BigCommerce and Dynamics 365 Business Central. Designed to support both B2C and B2B business models, this connector is more than a technical integration, it is a strategic enabler that bridges two critical ecosystems.

Unlike platforms such as Sana or DynamicWeb, which overlay e-commerce functionality onto ERP systems, BigCommerce is commerce-first. Combined with our connector, it offers a scalable digital commerce solution that seamlessly synchronizes with Business Central.

Market opportunity: a promising growth landscape in Europe

Although BigCommerce is expanding steadily across Europe, the ecosystem remains underdeveloped in several key markets, including Belgium. This presents a compelling opportunity for growth.

Our mission is to act as the connective tissue between Business Central implementation partners and BigCommerce agencies. The reality is that most ERP partners are not equipped to manage the complexities of e-commerce front ends, while most digital agencies lack ERP integration expertise.
